Strong Springfield to Boston Ride to Remember and the Fallen It Supports

Terrific 400+ rider 7th annual Springfield to Boston Ride to Remember ride, in honor of 2012 fallen Springfield Police Officer Kevin Ambrose, two weekends ago heart and soul coordinated by retired Springfield police officer, John Delaney.

That ride was followed last Friday with a poignant fallen police commemoration at the Massachusetts State House MC'd by Boston Channel 5 news anchor, Maria Stephanos, and presided by Massachusetts Lt. Gov. Karyn Polito, State Attorney General Maura Healy, MA Law Enforcement Memorial Foundation President Cecil Jones to acknowledge, with sympathy and love, the families of fallen Worcester Off. Leon Moody (1932), Weymouth P.D. Sgt. Michael Chesna (2018), and Yarmouth P.D. Sgt. Sean Gannon (2018).

Yes, VOmax makes the cycling jerseys and kits for the ride and gives back to the cause, but it's all of us together: the riders, support crew, and community at large remembering fallen first responders and military personnel who live to protect us that make our annual Ride to Remember what it's all about.

If you're a cyclist or someone who wants to support the ride, think about joining us next year for R2R 2020. As ride leader, John Delaney, says "It's the best ride you'll ever ride!"
